About the project
The goal of the project was to create a fast, convenient and fully responsive online store that meets modern design and performance standards. The customer needed a unique scalable solution, convenient for managing goods and integrated with all the necessary services. Particular attention was paid to site speed, ease of navigation and mobile optimization.
How I implemented it
Developed a theme for WooCommerce from scratch, taking into account all the client’s needs. Bootstrap 5 was used to build the frontend, which made it possible to ensure adaptability on all devices.
The development process is optimized using Gulp and Webpack – this made it possible to quickly assemble code, connect SCSS modules and effectively manage dependencies.
Interactive elements are implemented in JavaScript, and the store logic is implemented in PHP with full integration with WooCommerce. To expand the functionality, a custom plugin was created that provides specific capabilities needed by this particular business.
